First grade spent the months of January/February exploring Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf. They explored how the different instruments were made to sound like the different characters, and enjoyed listening to the instruments tell the story. In drama, students had a chance to act out the story as we listenened, and the students are currently finishing a project where they become a character!
